Did the title catch your attention? I was going to use a different title to really catch your attention, but decided not to. You can use your imagination to figure that out. This post is about one of my favorite things to do. Watch General Hospital. I used to watch all the soaps. I would watch one station, get caught up, and then I would switch over to another station the next week. Now, the only one that I like to watch is General Hospital.
I DVR it everyday. My husband hates that I do this, because it means he has to sit through it in the evening. I like to record it and to watch later, because 1) I can fast forward through commercials and 2) I can fast forward through story lines that I think are boring. Lately, I haven’t been fast forwarding through that many story lines. I FF the Maxie and Spinelli scenes, but that is it.
I love that the sizzle is coming back to General Hospital. Sam and Jason have been steaming up the screen. It also looks like Elizabeth and Nikolas are about to do the same. But what will happen to Lucky, though? He is not going to be happy when he finds out that his ex-wife and his brother are hooking up. Personally, I think that Lucky needs a new female character on the show. Someone that can bring him back to his roots and remind him what being a Spencer is all about. I think he needs to be caught up in a wild and crazy rescue mission of daddy dearest.
Anyway, why am I writing about this? General Hospital is an escape for me from everything. While it is playing, I don’t have to think about anything. I also appreciated how the spin off, Night Shift, introduced an autistic child to the audience. I think they handled it very well considering the time constricts that they had to tell the story.
