No Snow Man Here

Friday, December 25, 2009

I visited my mother before Christmas, and unfortunately, this lighted snowman is the closest we got to snow!  There's none back home in our part of Northeast Texas either, but I did enjoy the snowman because it continually changed colors.  It was for decoration, but it would make a great nightlight for the holidays.

It's important to have nightlights for visiting company who aren't accustomed to the layout of the home.  It is also helpful for small children who may be scared spending the night away from home.

Snow is one of nature's beauties that I prefer to visit rather than live in, although I admit that having some temporarily is a nice addition to the holidays.  Snow provides many interesting items for collectibles.  Do you have a photo of a special snowman you'd like to share with us?
