I love this book. I think that this book should be in every home in America.. This book lists companies that manufacture in the United States. The products listed in it are toys, furniture, clothes, shoes, baby items, and more. Contact information and information about each company are provided, too. I love the index in the back that lists the manufacturers by state. There is also an index for companies founded, co-founded, or owned by women, green or organic manufacturing, and children’s products.
This book is a great resource for all consumers. I love it because it will save me a lot of time on the computer researching individual manufacturers. I prefer to buy American made products, especially toys. There have been so many recalls of toys that are made in different countries. The biggest reason for this is that they do not have the strict guidelines that America has. It gets to be confusing too. There are American companies that manufacture their products in different countries. You have to watch out for this, and make sure the product says Made In America. Now, when I need to buy something, I can look for a manufacturer that is listed in this book and feel confident that I am buying American Made.
