I love reviewing products that I can get my children to give me feedback on. I always know that they are going to tell me exactly how they feel about what we are reviewing.
These two workbooks are fun and educational. You can use dry erase markers on the pages. I love that, because my child can work through the books over and over. I enjoy sitting with my daughter and going through the different subjects. Between the two books, you have the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, time, weather, the calendar, counting, spelling, and more.
My son is too old for these two books. That’s a good thing, though. I am very proud of the fact that academically, he is way ahead for his age. My daughter is the perfect age, and loves both of these books. These workbooks are great for almost all children who are getting ready for kindergarten or first grade. They are wonderful for home school parents. Since you can use the book repeatedly, you don’t have to worry about copying pages.
Now, let me get back to “almost all children.” My son is a visual learner. Although I could not try these books out with him(too boring for him to even attempt to use them), I know from past experience that when they were appropriate for his academic age, he would have had problems with them. The pages are “busy.” There are a lot of images and colors on the pages. This is good for a child like my daughter. She loves visually stimulating items. But my son has problems with visual processing. You may want to consider if this is an issue for your child. If not, then you may want to get these to use at home.
