It was a long weekend. I came down with a cold. Yuck! Everyone else is fine, I think. My son slept in late today, so he might be coming down with something. I took my little girl to the library Saturday to check out some books. Yesterday, she was ready to return them. Since the library was closed, she insisted that we can return them in the little box.
She said something really funny the other day. She asked me when were we going to make cookies for Santa. I told her it was a little too early to worry about that. She is so ready for Christmas. She also asked where were we going for Thanksgiving. I need to remember to call my Grandma and let her know that we are planning to go up to her house for Thanksgiving. I don't know what plans my husband's mother has made, but my parents will be in Florida with my sister and her family.
My house is a wreck. I need to get busy cleaning so that I can get Christmas decorations up the day after Thanksgiving. Yes, I am one of those that loves having everything decorated. It would help a lot if my daughter would pick up after herself. Isee a trash bag full of my daughter's stuff in the near future.
