All About Kids Meme Surprise

My daughter was in the bathroom brushing her teeth. All of a sudden, she runs out here yelling "Mommy, Mommy look!" I couldn't imaging what had happened, but she sounded excited, surprised and happy all at the same time. Her first bottom tooth had "popped" out as she was brushing her teeth.

She was so excited. I was extremely excited for her, too. What surprised me the most was that I didn't even know she had a loose tooth. I grabbed the camera and took a couple of pictures.

At bedtime, I had no problem getting her to go to bed and go to sleep. Usually, it takes about an hour before she settles down and falls asleep. Not last night. She immediately fell asleep. I sneaked in there and replaced the tooth in her little sock with a bunch of change. She slept for an hour and a half. When she woke up, she came out of her room asking if the Tooth Fairy had come. My hubby told her to go look under her pillow to find out.



Of course, the Tooth Fairy did a great job by coming early. She ran out of her room with her sock and opened it up. With a handful of change, she looked for her box to put them in. My daughter's class is collecting change for Leukemia Research. She put all of her change into the box. I was surprised and proud that my daughter did this. This will be one first that I will always treasure.
