The all time favorite is always the Sea Lions. Both of my kids love to watch them swimming around, chasing each other. There were a couple of new exhibits this time around. One was a new bee exhibit. Another was a special viewing area for the giraffes. It was free to go up onto the newly built overlook, but soon the zoo will be charging a special fee to walk up to it. Right now, they are trying to get the giraffes used to the people. Eventually, you are supposed to be able to feed the giraffes.
As always, by the time we left, I was tired and my feet hurt. It was all worth it, as you can see from the pictures below. I am hoping to get in one more visit to the zoo before it is too cold. They are putting in a Geyser exhibit, and I hope that it is completed soon.

We love zoos. It's an easier trip for us given the special needs; we don't do amusement parks etc. The kids just love animals. We recently went to a zoo/farm that we like; will post on that soon hopefully.
Looks like you all had fun!
We just did that Saturday! The kids looked like they had a blast!
How fun! This reminds me, we should take one last trip to the local zoo while the weather is still nice.
