(Trish with Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls did up this button especially for this meme. Thanks Trish!)

I've decided to create an ongoing Mcklinky for autism mom bloggers. This will be done every Thursday and I hope you will join me.

This week, I thought I would start with "Things I Thought Would Never Happen." I'll start it off.

1. I thought my son would never learn how to walk.
He did at age 2 1/2,

2. I thought my son would never be potty trained.
He was at age 10. Yeah!

3. I thought my son would never be completely independent in dressing.
He became completely independent at age 10. (The shirt was the hardest)

4. I thought my son would never learn how to write.
He is finally learning. He has been making great progress.

Now it is your turn. Enter the link to your post of "Things I Thought Would Never Happen" Autism Mom Thursday. Then, visit others and read theirs.

What a positive meme! Thanks. I've posted my link.

I'd love it if you'd stop by and read an article I write on a very similar theme, as this meme very much responds to the request I made of my readers to share all our special kids' stories. You can find it at Associated Content.

My article was inspired by the story of Ellen's son Max, posted at PhD in Parenting.

Cheers!
Ruby

I applaud you! What a great idea! I've been trying to spread the word on your blog to get you more readership. I have an idea for a give-away, too. Will get back to you on it.
