Pace Picante Review & My Fresh Garden Salad

Monday, June 15, 2009

We harvested some fresh vegetables from our garden. The only thing missing, was lettuce. I sent my husband to the store to get some. Now, I have everything I need to make a great salad. I cleaned the vegetables and prepared to make a delicious salad. The lettuce went in the bowl first. Then, I cut up the onion and in it went. Did you know that a fresh onion, from your garden, has more flavor then one you buy at a store? I only had to use one small onion to give my salad a good kick. I got out the peas, shelled them, and dropped them in the salad. Raw peas from my garden! Yummy! Finally, the cucumbers. I cut them up and in they went.

While I was mixing up my salad, I knew what I was going to finish it off with. No ordinary salad dressing. My salad was too good for that. I used Pace Picante Sauce. With 0g of fat and a lot of flavor, it was the perfect topping for my fresh garden salad. I have always been a fan of Pace Picante Sauce. It is always my first choice for tacos and burritos. Now, it is my first choice for salads. Pace has a line of different sauces that will spice up your foods. You can check them out at Pace and see all of them for yourself. They are also running a giveaway that ends July 31, 2009. Under the lids of specially marked Pace products is a code you can enter for a chance to win one of their products or a lifetime supply of Pace products. Check back here tomorrow to see what I do with the Pace Salsa Verde.
