I was going to be glued to the television for the whole race today. That was my plan. My parents came up for the day and it was girls time at the stores. I did make it back in time to watch the second half of the race. The pole sitter was No. 00 driver, David Reutimann. The winner was No. 48 Jimmy Johnson.
Dan Zacharias, Ford Racing Media Relations, offered to try to take a couple pictures for me before the race. I was very happy to see that he was able to. Watching the race, it was hard to see the Autism Speaks puzzle pieces on the cars that were speeding around in a circle. I was pleased to see them on the flag stand and at different spots on the wall. During the race, www.AutismSpeaks.org was put up on the screen. I was a little disappointed that the announcers did not mention Autism Speaks. At least, they didn't mention it during the second half of the race. I was also disappointed that there was a Fox Sports commercial feature with the drivers about Susan C. Koman For the Cure, but not one for Autism Speaks or Autism.
Here are the pictures that Dan emailed me:

No. 16 Ford driver Greg Biffle in the Dover International Speedway infield media center with the Autism Speaks logo on the backdrop.
